I wish to oversize the smooth plastics in this example to ensure also needs going heavier within the jig to fish The existing but a thing that will work effectively is always to combo up comfortable plastics having a tipped minnow or shiner.  I think the plastic provides some profile and perhaps vibration wherever these fish can find it far better
